REQUIRED CONDITIONS TO HAVE ENGINE LICENSE

“A1 class driver’s license; It is given to those who will drive, two-wheeled motorcycles with or without a sidecar, of a displacement of 125 cubic centimeters, a power of 11 kilowatts and a power-to-weight ratio not exceeding 0.1 and three-wheeled motorcycles with a power not exceeding 15 kilowatts.”
“A2 class driver’s license; It is given to those who will drive, two-wheeled motorcycles with or without a sidecar, of a power not exceeding 35 kilowatts and a power-to-weight ratio of 0.2 and three-wheeled motorcycles with a power not exceeding 15 kilowatts”
“A class driver’s license; It is given to those who will drive, two-wheeled motorcycles with or without a sidecar and three-wheeled motorcycles with a power exceeding 15 kilowatts.”
In the new law; People who will travel around the city with an electric motor or a motor up to 125 cc should buy an A1. It should not be forgotten that there may be motorcycles that rarely exceed the 11 kilowatt (14.7 hp) limit. In addition, to get this license, it is enough to be 16 years old.
A2 is requested from people who will ride an engine of 35 kW, up to approximately 47 horsepower. To get this license, you must be at least 18 years old.
A driver’s license is required for people who want to use all kinds of motorcycles. Getting this license is a little more difficult. If you have 2 years of A2 experience, turning 20 is enough to get this license. However, if you are 24 years old, 2 years of A2 experience is not required.
